In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the City is hosting a Neighborhood Clean Up (NCU) on Saturday, April 19, 2025. This is a volunteer opportunity to help keep Santa Clarita clean and green by picking up trash and litter in your own neighborhood and surrounding areas. Pre-registration for this event is required and will be available on March 10, 2025 through the Santa Clarita Volunteer website at SantaClaritaVolunteers.com. Please register no later than Friday, April 18, 2025. During registration, please choose your drive-thru location. Registered volunteers can pickup cleaning supplies as well as a free bag of mulch and one-gallon plant (while supplies last) from 8:00-11:00 a.m. on the morning of the event.

The 2025 NCU locations are as follows:
1. Newhall Community Center - 22421 Market St.
2. Canyon Country Park - 17615 Soledad Canyon Rd.
3. The Centre Lower Parking Lot off of Aquatic Center Drive - 20850 Centre Pointe Pwky.

A tree planting ceremony will also be held at The Centre (20850 Centre Pointe Pwky), which volunteers can register for in addition to the NCU on the volunteers website.
